1968 Nikkor-S 55mm Lens Test

I recently acquired a Nikon Nikkor-S 55mm F1.2 lens. It came attached to a 1968 Nikon F that I purchased in the hopes of getting more into film photography. After shooting a couple 35mm rolls with the Nikon I started wondering how the pictures would look like if I attached the lens to my 5D. So, I ordered a cheap adapter and went out to the Norfolk Botanical Garden for a little test with my friend Laura. Needless to say, I was blown away. Focusing was a bit tricky but the 5D’s live view mode made it much more accurate. The bokeh this lens creates is something to behold.. I love it!
